Cristmas Day 2008
AB, DW, and I started Christmas Morning with a breakfast of freshly baked cinnamon rolls and bacon. The we moved into opening AB's gifts...
After opening gifts at home we drove to Aunt Sandy's to join the rest of DW's family. AB started by trying out his new in-line skates....
Posing with his Aunt Susie...
Getting down to business with DW....
Devouring a chocolate snowman that looks suspiciously like Mr. Hankey...
Displaying one of the animals from the set Aunt Sandy gave him. The precocious boy defies critics who say he's still too young to consort with cougars....
Exhausted by all the excitement, AB rests with his Aunt Sandy....

Baking Christmas Cookies
DW and AB baking cookies in preparation for Christmas celebrations.....
Sampling cookie dough.......
And getting a "thank you" from Mom.....
BTW, while not shooting photos like these, I was working in our third-floor attic. And I could smell each batch of new cookies baking in the oven. I savored the aroma as each new batch rose and came out. My favorite - the peanutbutter cookies.

Another Post From Awhile Ago
If you've followed this blog since I started it, you've noticed a long gap in my posts. I'm now going back now to fill in the gaps. I'm keeping the new material in chonological order, but will post links like this one so you know when I've posted now stuff that you will probably want to go back and see, like AB at the Collings Foundation B-17 Flying Fortress and B-24 Liberator.
